No. You must be the primary owner or a joint owner of the external account or otherwise be authorized by all of the owners of the account to operate the external account in order to add it to your profile and transfer funds to it. You can, however, transfer funds to someone using the “Pay a Person” option within Bill Pay.

The cutoff time for external transfers is 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Transfers made outside of this window or on weekends or holidays may not be processed or sent until the next business day.

Please allow 1-3 business days for your external transfer to be completed.

To validate your external account, we’ll make two small deposits of less than $1 each in the external account, typically within two business days. Once these deposits are in your external account, please log in to Solarity Digital Banking to confirm the amounts of these deposits. These small deposits will be withdrawn from your account at the end of the process. You’ll now be able to start making transfers to or from your linked external account.

To add an external account, login to Solarity online or mobile banking, go to Transfers and Payments and select Manage External Payees in the menu. Choose Add new payee and provide the details of your external account including the name of the financial institution, routing number, account number and type of account. Within about two business days, Solarity will initiate two small deposits into your external account that will need to be confirmed.
